Getting Opaline Personatus Lovebirds

Getting the Opaline Personatus mutation When hearing about opaline, we will think of birds with a redhead or a whitehead. Yes, that's if it happens to Fischeri.

Then what is possible for personatus to be present in the Personatus species?

Transmutations may also be worked out for other mutations, such as the original Blue personatus transferred to Fischeri and other species.

Opaline is likely to present with transmutation in personatus species, Nigrigenis, and lilianae Nyasa.

While this is not an easy job, there is no other way.

Then how to start a transmutation for Opaline Fischeri towards Opaline Personatus?

1. Choosing Parental

The first thing to start transmutating opaline fischeri to opaline personatus is to choose a parent.

Try to work with the Male Opaline, then choose the female parent of the wild type personatus.

It is crucial to choose a personatus parent with the best qualities. Because this will be a foundation for the future.

2. F1 Selection

From the cross between such wild-type Opaline Fischeri x Personatus we will get the following chicks:

1.0 green /opaline

0.1 green opaline

Breeding tests of at least two generations for selecting chicks with the blackest masks.

Keep male/opaline chicks to be crossed again with wild-type Personatus female parents.

Take the green opaline female chicks to cross with a new line of pigeons from the Wild Type Personatus males.

This is intended to be the next day. You have two Opaline personatus hybrids with different Bloodlines.

3. Selection of F3

From the crossing of green/opaline male chicks x parents of wild-type personatus females we get chicks as follows:

50.0% 1.0 green

50.0% 1.0 green /opaline

50.0% 0.1 green

50.0% 0.1 green opaline

Try at least 2 production sessions to select green male/opaline chicks and personatus hybrid opaline females with the blackest masks.

Then Inbreed green chicks/opaline x hybrid green opaline personatus try to have different production sessions.

4. F4 Selection

This step is a benchmark for whether the transmutation process is going well or vice versa. We will get chicks from the inbreed crossing of fellow chicks on F3 as follows.

50.0% 1.0 green opaline

50.0% 1.0 green /opaline

50.0% 0.1 green

50.0% 0.1 green opaline

You should have come to a good progression by getting an opaline personatus rooster with a black mask colour and showing a firm mask border on the neck.

If there are no chicks with the criteria of approaching personatus yet, you can wait.

Perhaps at the next production session, you will get them. Because at this stage, the structure of personatus DNA is already more established. So it's just a matter of time and a little luck.

5. Inserting a new bloodline

The Inbreed process will produce a male opaline personatus with a better appearance.

Then you cross it with a new bloodline wild-type personatus female.

The new bloodline will keep the transmutation of opaline body size proportional.

It also aims to strengthen the structure of personatus DNA and patch up the deficiencies of transmutation results with the initial bloodline.

In this process, the orientation is to get the female chicks Opaline personatus, the most perfect selection with the criteria of the personatus species.

6. Cross backs

It will repeat the process from the beginning, but this time you are already working with the male bird opaline personatus.

At this stage, you have to cross back the chick of the hen with the Male F4 to get the 5th generation personatus opaline on this transmutation circuit.

Of course, it will be shorter, and each chick obtained will gradually be better and better. In this process, you only make a selection of the best of the best.

If required, you just need a continuous selection and put a new bloodline again for the next stage.
