Each individual requires the intake of vitamins and minerals needed by the body, with no exception for birds. Lovebirds in the wild determine the type of feed required on the body.
So a lovebird in the wild will not lack the vitamins or minerals he needs.
And it will seem healthy and active as long as food sources are available. All have been provided by nature and continuously generalized.
This is very different when a Lovebird is in a cage. We should make all the needs of food, drink, vitamins, minerals, and everything needed by Lovebird in a cell for Lovebird.
This is an obligation for us when deciding to nurture a lovebird.
So we need to be utterly selective in determining the feed of the best vitamins and minerals for a lovebird.
For those of you who do lovebird breeding, the intake of food, beverages, and vitamins should be more concern.
But I won't be discussing Lovebird's leading food that you already know.
I emphasize the feed formula for the lovebird breeding. Because this is what would determine whether the breeding is running or not.
Lovebirds breeding vitamins
1. EggFood Lovebird Breeding
Eggfood is a man-made feed that has complete content for Lovebird. In Eggfood, there are also special supplements to
prepare for lovebird breeding.
EggFood presentation is only for the leading food escort. Either given when
preparing for breeding or pairing preparation. In this case, I recommend EggFood of the brand Versele-Laga. There are
two kinds that you can use.
-Frutti Patee
Egg food is essential during the breeding season and the rest of the year. It is a source of extra nutrients.
-Gold Patee
- Moistened with 100% natural honey.
- With fruit chunks.
- With extra added lysine and methionine for optimal growth and feathering.
To get the optimal results, I used to mix the two EggFood into one. Be given each day a small spoon for each pair.
2. Supplements and multivitamins Lovebirds Breeding
This is very important for lovebirds in the breeding period. The impact will be seen in hatchery quality, saplings
quality, and quality when the parent nurses the saplings.
Some bad things will happen when you ignore
supplements and multivitamins for your birds. I recommend some supplements and multivitamins for the following
lovebird breeding.
-Ferti Oil
Wheat germ oil is enriched with vitamins A, D3, and E (to promote fertility). Ideal for stimulating the laying and fertilization during the breeding period
- Promotes a uniform and smooth egg-laying

E.
To be used during preparation for the breeding season, for the song of canaries and finches, and in
laying and fertility disorders or in cases of death in the egg.
Ferti-Vit promotes sexual drive and
fertility.
- For the breeding season and in cases of laying- or fertility disorders
- Promotes sexual drive and fertility

I give turns when lovebird preparations for breeding, intensive awarding for 2 weeks before the first egg comes
out.
I have already done a few years and got good breeding results.
Especially for saplings with large bodies, grease and fur look bright, feathers look smooth, and saplings' growth
becomes faster.
I hope you do it for breeding at your home. So that the quality of lovebird breeding
remains good.
